The New York International Auto Show welcomed Volkswagen's newest addition to their SUV lineup - the 2024 Atlas Peak Edition. Inspired by the Atlas Basecamp concept shown in 2019, this rugged trimline is perfect for those seeking adventure and looking for a reliable vehicle to take them there. With unique interior and exterior features, the Peak Edition is sure to turn heads.
The 2024 Atlas Peak Edition features an array of new elements that separate it from other Atlas models. The body cladding elements and unique wheels are just a few of the changes that give the vehicle its rugged appearance. All-terrain tires, black-out exterior details, and signature interior design only add to this impressive ride.
One of the most noticeable features of the Peak Edition is its front fascia and underbody cladding in silver, making it stand out from other Atlas trims. The gloss-black “X” design element taken from the Atlas Cross Sport stretches across the lower fascia, creating a stunning visual. Two chrome strips that pop on an otherwise blacked-out grille flow to either side of the illuminated logo, capping off a unique and bold front end.
The interior of the Peak Edition is equally impressive as the exterior. It includes Titan Black leatherette with light grey accents and orange contrast stitching, dash and door inserts in a black metallic check pattern, and ambient lighting with 30 colour choices. The steering wheel clip bears the same logo as the exterior badging and the backlit dash décor reads "Peak Edition." There is no doubt that Volkswagen designed this vehicle with adventure in mind, and they executed it with great attention to detail.
Furthermore, the Atlas Peak Edition features a gloss-black badge on the front quarter panel with the Peak Edition logo in orange and chrome, 18-inch black alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, rugged side sills, black accents on the mirror caps, window surround, wheel arches, and roof rails, a black tailgate strip with a rugged black and silver diffuser, and chrome exhaust bezels. It will be available in exclusive colours Avocado Green and Pure Grey.
