The 2023 Volkswagen Taos is a great choice for students due to its affordability, its practicality, and its fuel efficiency.
A Taos for everyone
The 2023 Volkswagen Taos is available in three trim levels that make it possible to find the perfect balance between price and equipment for many buyers. The entry-level Trendline makes the Taos the second most affordable Volkswagen model after the Jetta while also offering many of the most popular features as standard. This means that it is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, heated front seats and steering wheel, LED headlamps and taillamps, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, as well as forward pedestrian detection. Stepping up to the Comfortline adds two speakers to the audio system, the dual-zone automatic climate control, a wireless charging mat, the dynamic cruise control with Stop&Go, a larger infotainment screen, and the wireless version of both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For the maximum in Taos luxury and comfort, the Highline adds front and rear parking sensors, a BeatsAudio premium sound system and ventilated front leather seats, among others.
Large enough to carry anything but small enough to drive anywhere
The 2023 Volkswagen Taos is a very practical vehicle due to its format, which makes it capable of transporting lots of cargo while occupying a limited space on the road. With up to 1,866 litres of space behind the front seats, you might not even have to rent a trailer to move all of your furniture.
A fuel-efficient option
The 2023 Volkswagen Taos is one of the most fuel-efficient compact SUVs on the market. This is due to its modern 1,5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which delivers 158 horsepower and 184 ft-lb of torque to either the front wheels or all of the wheels when the available 4MOTION AWD is selected. Despite this power, the Taos can manage to drive 100 kilometres on only 6.6 litres on the highway.
