Driving into the Future: Volkswagen's IQ.DRIVE Explained

Front Assist: This system provides a helpful set of eyes on the road ahead. It incorporates forward collision warnings and automatic emergency braking. Rear Traffic Alert: When reversing out of a parking space or driveway, this system alerts you if a vehicle is approaching from the side. It can even apply the brakes if needed, making it a great ally in tight parking lots.

Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop and Go: Unlike regular cruise control that maintains a constant speed, ACC adjusts your speed to keep a safe distance from the vehicle ahead. In combination with the Stop and Go feature, the Atlas can come to a complete stop and resume travel based on the movement of traffic. It's like cruise control evolved for today's congested roads.

Emergency Assist: This system takes safety to a whole new level. If it detects a lack of input from the driver—perhaps due to a medical emergency—it can slow down the vehicle, activate hazard lights, and even execute a safe, controlled stop.
