This engine is unfortunately paired with a boring-to-operate continuously variable transmission (CVT) that channels the power to the front wheels when the CR-V is in its base form, with AWD being optional.
There’s no doubt that the Tiguan is more advanced, not only in terms of power, but also in terms of driveability thanks to its standard AWD system.
