Key Responsibilities:

As Body Shop/Collision Repair Technician, you will be responsible for structural and intricate metal repairs, and will thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble each vehicle while playing a pivotal role to Bramgate Collision’s promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence. You will:

  • Inspect and assess damage to vehicle.
  • Dismantle and repair vehicles as per insurance guidelines and standards at the collision repair facility.
  • Repair damage to vehicle body panels.
  • Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and vehicle accessories.
  • Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle.
  • Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle.
  • Use of frame equipment.
  • Advice customers/insurance on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
  • Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance.
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
  • Other duties as required.

What you bring to the role

The key skills and qualities of an Audi Brand Specialist:

  • High School diploma, or post-secondary education.
  • Valid Body Shop/Collision Service Technician trade certification.
  • 2-5 years of direct work experience in automotive repairs and service with luxury vehicles.
  • Extensive knowledge of different automobiles and their service needs.
  • Customer service skills. Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
  • Should be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Safety shoes.
  • Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and work ethic.
